2nd visit and the star was the Iraqi Kabob! Delicious, lip smacking beef! Absolutely hit right - the quality hasn't changed and the portions are worth 2 meals. Each meal was about $25 and was a full meal of soup + fries which was so filling in itself! The vibe is always great and is such a good place to eat authentic middle eastern food! Still recommend!

Delicious middle eastern restaurant right in the heart of middle eastern land in Windsor. The lentil soup was outstanding. The hummus was creamy and among the best that I've ever had. The Iraqi kabab was well spiced. Prices have increased a lot since some of the prices quoted on Yelp, but the food is outstanding. Also, I had never tried rice kibbeh before, and it was tasty.

Excellent middle eastern food. Good service. The ambiance is calm, neat and clean. Good for family dinner or any other formal dinner. They serve great tea.

Excellent food. Interior design of this restaurant resembles Assyrian Mural which was elegant and beautiful. One of the best restaurants in Windsor according to my experience.

Authentic Iraqi food cooked from high quality ingredients, tasty beyond expectations very delicious, customer service above and beyond they are very caring with a smile food served in a fashion way, the place is very clean and comfortable, the atmosphere is what you really need when you feel like eating quality Mediterranean Iraqi style food. Excellent quality keep up the good work. Absolutely highly recommended, We will definitely come back when we come visit Windsor.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt with a 4. My chicken breast was good, I've had better tabbouli, the lentil soup was just ok, and my friend liked his grape leaves a lot but wasn't fond of the curry. Decent service and atmosphere. I'd go back, but wouldn't go out of way to go.

Our go to is here! The platter is so filling and it also comes with five soups! Always get the lentil soup. The food came and we ate so fast I forgot to take pictures. The Iraqi beef skewers with their rice is my fave! Just note they charge a tip for tables if 8 or more. One time one of the waitresses wrote over the tip so I double tipped...sneaky. But one person doesn't ruin this establishment cause every other time it's been wonderful service.

I can see why the aggregate rating for Windsor Palace is high, even among a crowded field of Middle Eastern restaurants (many of which are just a few doors down). Modestly upscale, yet the prices are on par with the rest of the city; neither inexpensive nor outrageous. We tried beef shawarma with rice (fantastic), falafel (uninteresting but acceptable), and a hummus appetizer (pretty huge portion size). The chef is Iraqi but my culinary skill is too narrow to know whether our meal is an authentic representation. All I can say is: good and yummy.

After walking into this restaurant, you'd expect to find high prices on the menu. This place is beautiful decorated and makes you feel like you stepped into a new country! However, you will find fair prices at about $11-18 for a very filling Iraqi meal. The servers were very attentive, maybe even too attentive but let's talk about the food. The food was quite good and well seasoned. Tried the potato chops and the cream chicken. The dishes came with soup (chicken soup which tasted like homemade chicken soup but better and more thick) and pita bread (which I didn't care much for since it was plain and dry). The potato chops were seasoned quite nicely and the chicken was very juicy and crisp on the outside. The side vegetables for the chicken were plain and steamed. Overall, a decent meal and nice ambience. I'd come back again, the potato dish was $12 and the chicken dish was about $15.
